Default Restaurants

Can anyone point me in the right direction for the best place to go in Indy for a restaurant that gives you A LOT of food and is relatively cheap? Don't really care if it is a dive, just looking for good food, i have been watching the food channel too much and see all these awesome restaurants on that diners/dives show but they never cover Indy so i am wondering if there is anything in town??

Thanks

A lot of cheap food? Doesn't sound like a recipe for a recommendation to me.

A dive for me (at least until they scrubbed the floor and took away the velvet paintings) was Acapulco Joes, downtown. We go for the special omelet with the taco filling. Doesnt taste exactly as it did in the 70s when it really was in a diner downtown. The taste did not all move with them when they moved across the street. But I still love it.

Sisters, just south of downtown, for country fried steak.
