North Spencer is two blocks east of 21st and Emerson. It is an area that will get ripped to shreds for no reason other than it is on the east side. Some of the areas south of 16th are nice in that area. As far as 21st and Emerson, it doesn't seem bad; but I have not spent a lot of time in that specific block. It is predominantly small, modest bungalows.

Becky, I just moved here three weeks ago and am quite happy. I'm living on the south side and know the north side above 25th seems good. I have heard that the near west side and the east side art not the greatest.
As a guide only, I would suggest this site for crime stats,
