OK, since you put it that way, I didn't want to make the Colts perhaps the smallest in fan base and I was indeed aware that the whole state of Wisconsin is behing the Pack. From NW Indiana you have to go as far south as Lebanon to find Colts fans.

Packers fans are a rabid bunch and they are spread out all over the place. They stay loyal to the Pack no matter where they live .... kind of like we do with our Bearsssssss.
I worked with an attorney who, the minute he was offered partnership, hung not his law school diploma (from the University of Chicago), but his share of the Packers ... now THAT'S loyalty.
Gotta be around for a few decades to get that kind of undying loyalty.

BS. Go to a sports store like Finish Line in Merrillville, South Bend, Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Terre Haute or Columbus, then tell me what you think. There's a reason those places carry so much Colts gear.
Edit: I read through some other threads. Now I get it.....Your probably a bitter Bears fan still upset you lost to little 'ol Indy in the Super Bowl.
Then again, what does that have to do with the point of our conversation?

Ya, Columbus is the obvious twin for Indianapolis.

No
First of all Columbus is a twin, NOT Des Moines. Second of all the Colts have a large fan base. Fort Wayne leans more towards the Colts, and I suppose that from South Bend to Gary is almost all bears fans. Other than far northern Indiana, Indiana likes the Colts! By the way, awesome win against the Titans.

Very accurate...this is unquestionably Colts territory.
Older generation Michiana is pretty solidly Bears fans, but the younger generation (25 and under) seems to be split 50/50 Bears-Colts.

Having lived in Omaha I would say Omaha/Council Bluffs, IA.

Many of the Colts fans in northern Indiana are all bandwagon fans anyway. There are very few of us "true" Colts fans roaming the streets of Michiana.
