arrest (Madison, Edgewood: shop, cars, time)

What happened at the Kroger at Madison and Edgewood today at about 5PM??? They were 10 cops with guns that arrested one woman.

It could have been one shop lifter. We called once in the middle of the night about a woman pounding on our door and about 6+ cop cars showed up and then spent some time talking.

I assumed the OP meant the cops had their guns drawn.

According to the IMPD incident report map, larceny occurred in the 5800 block of Madison (slightly north of Edgewood) at approximately 4:45 p.m. on 10/6. It seems reasonable to infer that could be the incident in question, and if it was at a Kroger, shoplifting would also be a reasonable inference. Why on earth 10 gun-wielding cops would be necessary to bring down a shoplifter is open to question.
