Could someone give me an idea of how much time it will take to commute from Noblesville to Monument Circle downtown, morning and afternoon?
Thanks! |

Depends on where you live, but count on at least an hour.

Ditto Domergirl's info.
First you have to get on I69 and travel south to I465. There is all the Noblesville and Fishers traffic entering at various points. Then you choose I465 down the East side to I70 and travel from I70 to downtown thru the huge construction zone which extends from I465 to almost downtown. Then you have to get off of the Interstate and make your way to the Circle which is not that far but depends on how many are trying to do it at that minute. We slide over to the right and drop down to either Pennsylvania or Meridian. Then slightly south to the circle. None of the alternatives are pleasant. You can take I69 straight down and it turns into a limited access hiway until you get to Keystone and then it is a multilane city street curvy in places down to Meridian and follow Meridian to the circle. Or you can take I465 West to Meridian and then south for approx 96 blocks. Straight shot but lots of lights. So there are not a lot of options. |

Some people in Noblesville take the same route I do from Fishers ... Olio Road to 70 and in. It will be nice when the construction on 70 is done. It looks like it's making good progress!

It depends on what time you'll be driving in the morning and afternoon. I'd say between 45 to 65 minutes.

It takes me 45 minutes to an hour to get from the west side of Indy to downtown Noblesville every day if I leave a couple hours before rush hour. During rush hour, driving from downtown Indy to downtown Noblesville, depending on traffic situations, it could be well over an hour drive.

and that is if there are no accidents or slow downs. there were several times last year where ees in our office had a four hour drive home due to weather and accidents. It also depends on whether you are able to get off the road before hitting the major stoppage and go around it.

As someone elses said, depends on which side of Noblesville you live. I would plan on an hour. It amazes me that more people don't take Allisonville rd as opposed to 37/ I69. It gets a little heavy around castleton, but not to the extreme that 69 does.
Cumberland Rd turns into Mud Creek and comes to a T at Fall Creek. You can either take Fall Creek to Meridian St (or there abouts) or jump off sooner onto 465. I have found Hazel Dell to be a rather quick route. Once you get to 96th st, you wil have to cut over to Keystone Ave, but plan on heavy backups at 96th and Keystone as well. Some constrution currently ongoing on Hazel Dell may not make this the best option at this time. Every route will have its congested parts, but I would avoid the I-69 parking lot at all costs. |
