Where are you going to be staying? Are you into the club scene?

Or not. The Pacers aren't likely to leave a favorable impression.

Todd, my friend, for a fun night in Indianapolis, do this:

1) Go to finish line at Circle Centre Mall and purchase a Philip Rivers jersety.

2) Go to the Colts pro shop and walk around, maybe loiter outside of it.

3) Drive to the far northern reaches of Indianapolis and visit the Blue Crew Sports Grill, talk as much trash as you can. If you are staying downtown and can not make the drive, substitute Blue Crew with Champp's downtown at Circle Center.

4) You might also want to stand along South Street and have someone take a picture of you so that it appears you are peeing on Lucas Oil Stadium in your Rivers jersey.

5) Go to a Pacers game, wearing the Rivers jersey. The other 10 fans at the game will be pissed (as a Pacers ticket holder, I am allowed to say that).

Some of the museums have later hours one night a week.

You might want to check out the nightlife Broad Ripple.

Minor League Hockey is available. The Ice generally play at the Fairgrounds coliseum, but they sometimes play at Conseco.

If I were coming here for a night, I would definitely hit Broad Ripple. Nice restaurants, bars, clubs, and all in a convenient little area that is easily walkable.

If you're not into the club scene, try downtown, the archetecture, museums, and canal are gorgeous, but the weather might b too cold for that.
