Hey guys, can anyone tell me where would be a good, competitive place to play basketball around the Indy area? Does anyone have friends that play anywhere consistently?

I currently play at Lifetime Fitness and the competition there is hit and miss. I'm in my late 20's and just looking for guys around the same age that love to play, are competitive, and don't argue or fight over every call. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!

One thing I miss about the state of Indiana is being able to go pretty much anywhere to play a competitive game of basketball.

I know what you mean! When I was in college at IU I remember being able to play a good pickup game any night of the week at the HPER...it was great! That was the 2nd best thing I miss most from college....the first would be the cute girls at IU.

Dave, that's a great thought! I think some of the colleges don't allow it unless you are some sort of student or faculty (even part-time) but it's worth a shot to find out for sure. Hinkle would be a great place to hoop! I'll look into it...thanks for the idea.

Yea...it's a nice place! I've been there before to play pick-up ball but they only do open gym on Mondays. They are constantly running leagues and you'll need at least a group of 5-7 guys for a league, which I don't have. It's definitely a nice play to hoop though!
