I have researched and formed a list of some apartments I'm going to look at but I would like to add to my list. I want to live on the north side someplace near Castleton and I'd like some suggestions.

I'm considering having a roommate but still unsure, so my price range for a one bedroom would be up to 600 (could possibly swing 650) and for a two bedroom up to 800 a month. The cheaper the better on the two bedroom as I want to be sure I can afford it on my own for a while just in case something happens with the roommate losing their job etc.

My main concern is safety/low crime. I don't want to worry about my car getting broken into overnight. Other concerns would be a place that isn't too noisy and has a good amount of parking. I can stand to live at an older place if it's less money--as long as it's not falling apart. Any suggestions are welcome!

Many of the places in the Castleton area aren't that safe - don't get me wrong, they are bettyer than many other areas of town, but as far as getting your car broken into, that might be a problem.

I am going to recommend a place that is about 10 minutes (at most) south of castleton. it is quiet, older and the residents are a little older than many places in the Castleton area. But I think the price is right, location is quiter and about halfway between castleton and Broad Ripple

Check out Fountain Parc.

I am fine with 10 minutes away, or even 15-20 minutes away really. I suppose I should clarify. My workplace is near Meridian and 103rd and I have friends or family who each live at Somerset Lakes (Keystone and 79th), North Haven (96th and Gray Rd), and in Noblesville just west of the Music Center. so I sort of just want to be somewhat close to all of those locations. That's why I mentioned near Castleton. Even somewhere on the south edge of Westfield/Noblesville would probably be ok. I just don't want to be on the road more than 25 minutes going to work in the mornings if possible. I would still prefer to be somewhere close to or inside the 465 loop though.

I had Fountain Parc on my list--I will definitely check it out. Thanks!
