I'd suggest showing the Arts & Design District, some of the new developments on Rangeline and the Performing Arts Center going up but I'd imagine that Google Street View has been through the area recently enough to catch all of that.

Good tour though. I've actually been giving some thought to doing a photo tour of Carmel...something REALLY comprehensive. It's a great town and deserves some spotlight. Perhaps this spring and summer I'll get around to it.

That's what I've been trying to tell you. It's laid back here, very much like the stereotype of suburban life. I personally like it laid back and calm but if you're looking for busy, big city lifestyle, it's not your cup of tea. Did you not drive around Carmel/Zionsville/Westfield etc... when you visited?

I don't know much about Carmel Highschool other than it's huge. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

no time to drive around. Just did Indy downtown. I regret most that I missed Broad Ripple. That looks really great.

Again I was brought up in a very laid back city next to Seattle and have great memories. MOST important is that the kids are happy!

Well then, your kids will be very happy anywhere in Hamilton County where I live, be it Carmel, Westfield, Fishers, Zionsville etc... It's very family oriented with lots to do with kids(i.e. water parks, sports, museums, etc...)..

P.S. If you come back for a visit, drop me a private message and I will direct you to some areas to check out.
