It's not just the suburbs in Indiana, I've noticed a HUGE increase of Illinois state troopers doing speed traps....I'm sure they are getting direction from up above as a way to increase revenue for the towns and or states..

Drove through my favorite farce of a "school zone" at 30th and Post Road a couple of times yesterday. Got passed by a school bus once and two cop cars at other times. All were doing over forty.

I bet you were over-joyed seeing the freedom cops and school bus drivers enjoy.

The Baptist school is in Marion County thus the school zone speed limit is in effect all day unlike the school zones in Johnson County which state "when children are present'. The Greenwood Police often use this area to set up speed traps.
How about I just stay out of Greenwood? If the Nazis are attack free citizens, I don't need to patronize a city with such rampant anti-Americanism.

And freedom advocates have little tolerance for the totalitarianism you'd impose on us.

The country you want is a scary place.

Who dat?

Exactly. Some people here just hate freedom and love seeing us be stripped of ours.

If we really had freedom, we would repeal funding for all these thieving public schools and let the parents worry about educating their own children on their own dime. No schools, no school zones, no cops to feed on the mess they just made.

And uh, no paved public roads.

Problems solved.

Wow you just took that way too far. How about we get rid of airports, highways, police, and firefighters too? All they do is take away our freedom .

If they steal money from a person who never uses and/or benefits from the service, yes, they do take away a person's freedom. You can claim how the person gets all these benefits, blah blah blah, but if we really had a country that was truly based on individual freedom, taxpayers would not be paying for any of the above. However, we live in a quasi-free country, and are losing more freedoms as elites continue to lump more and more things into the "should be provided by government" pool (sports stadiums, hotels, fancy schools, fancy K-12 sport complexes, etc.).

Eventually, as history shows, things will collapse. Even I have cut way back on any over-time and working an extra duty at my job. The extra duty got me just under a grand in "extra" money. All I was doing was working so I could write the IRS a check for $2,500+. Second year in a row. Figured it out, I am paying .30 on the dollar for every extra dollar I make. Not worth working anything extra. Eventually it won't be worth working at all unless one is making $100K/year individually, or $200K/year combined income.
