I find it pathetic that they see him as a tech tycoon. He didn't do anything innovating to be in the same realms as Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. Gates and Jobs have ran companies that produce something. Zuckerberg only runs a website that people use to talk to friends. That doesn't sound innovating to me.

Why don't you try it and see if you have one millionth of one percent of the success that Facebook has. Then we'll decide who was/is more innovative.

Zuckerberg has GOOG shaking in their shoes.

That is something Gates and Jobs have never come close to doing.
That alone earns him some respect, and I am not even a Fan....

Unlike some social networking sites <ahem> Twitter <cough>, Zuckerberg's company actually brings in money.

More than half of the population of the US is registered on his site. We can't even get half of the US population to vote in elections!

No, but he may get there in the future if Facebook continues on its pace, as its a fairly new phenomenon.

I don't think Facebook has the same intelligently-designed foundation or staying power of Windows or Google. As it stands, it is undere SEVERE risk of going the way of MySpace when the Next Big Thing comes along, or even a fraction of current users start becoming passe about facebooking.
