It ain't WHAT you know... It's WHO you know... Invitation only while in pre-beta.

But, get a head start by building your GOOG profile and "+1-inning" some sites that you think contribute quality to folks.

I've got G+ and find that I like the setup a LOT more than Facebook. It's basic, light, and scripted much more user friendly. There's a few things I'd like to see added (such as being completely "invisible" except to those I add), but overall I like it. Tested the video and Youtube "Hangout" functions last night. Even after 2-3 hours, it still ran better than 30 minutes of Facebook chat.

Haven't tested the G+ app on my phone, yet. I'll probably play with that a bit during lunch.

I have it (have a friend who is a techie) and like it so far. I like the different circles. I tried the hangout thing--it could be very useful with one son in Paris, and the other in northern Spain.

I'm still on Facebook, but recently have been much more an observer than participant.

Maybe I'm lame, but I still use Google Buzz every now and then. .
I never did get much into Google Wave though.

Invites are back, at least for now. PM me with your email address and I'll send one to you.

It appears to only work with gmail addresses. I tried sending a few to Yahoo and nobody received them.

This goes for anyone else who wants one.

So far, it only seems to be good for individuals. Can companies or organizations create their own groups?

Can this tie in with Google Groups?

Google said they'll roll out membership options for organizations soon.

I wonder if all the companies on Facebook will switch over? Every decade or so, it seems everyone is ready for a change.
