I guess they have gotten so large that they don't care about problems people have with them.

I try send "friend" invites to attorneys in Texas because I'm an elected state bar (not drinks lol) director. Texas is different -the state bar is a part of state government. I'm not selling anything and its not a paid position but they think I'm spamming and blocked me from having any new friends.

And this surprises you why? Maybe they are doing your a favor, for the don't give a damn about your privacy and online security.

Facebook again doesn't give a damn about your privacy or security

Maybe many complained about you? Some (myself included) actually become friends with people they know!

Sounds like you are being reported as a spammer by those to whom you are sending invites to me. Maybe they don't want to be your "friend." lol

What happened is when I looked in for people in my attorney network - many times I would have to guess -there may be 3 Peter Brown attorneys in Texarkana and the wrong ones might not have liked it but gee 1769 did accept over the past year or two.
Facebook has the capability to see who is sending spam emails and who isn't
