I used Firefox, since I like it better than EI.

Now when I use Firefox, for some reason or another gives me the following message:
============================================
The proxy server is refusing connections

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

Check the proxy settings to make sure that they are correct.
Contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is
working.
============================================

Any idea where I *go* to get this corrected ???

IE (9), does work normally ...

I did have the *latest* version of Firefox.
Removed it (completely ... I think), re-installed it, same thing ....

TIA

That's the error message Firefox gives anytime the proxy server isn't running.

If you use Squid, it's not loaded or the wrong port was selected.
