Is it always just 1 DM per day, Or do they allow to have more the longer you are a member or the more posts you have?

I don;t know what the limits are here but typically on most forums they limit your ability to use the PM system when you're new member to prevent spammers from taking advantage of the PM system.

New users are limited in many ways, once you get past a few posts (10 is the magic number for somethings) many of the limitations will be lifted.
