anyone has experience with direct tv 10mbps internet? how was it compared to comcast cable. i only have 6mps cable internet from comcast, wanting to shift to direct tv.

Dunno where the OP is with that Comcast connection...mine here in SW FLA just showed:
25.4 Down 4.3 Up, which is pretty normal for late afternoons here.

I have the 'standard' CC internet/cable/phone set up. If I only got "6" from CC, I would ask them why.

Back at our western NC mtn home, a neighbor has Direct TV and a nearly worthless Hughes Net internet connection. Direct has several roving 'offers' of different net services depending on one's area, ranging from AT&T to Verizon to the dial up bad Hughes net. No tech here, but a basic VZ air card plugged into one's laptop does ~6 down most of the time...
