Facebook has started autoplaying videos in your timeline, but it only applies to certain videos posted directly. It does not apply to links to YouTube videos. It also only autoplays each video once. Then it will only play if you click on it. Apparently the sound is off by default. Some people don't like it but you can turn it off in Ios. I think you can't turn it off on a Windows computer.

Note: Windows has a thing in Control Panel called Autoplay but that's a totally different thing.

Somebody else mentioned this to me and I do not have that happen.
I'm not a big FB user so haven't done anything special on that site to prevent it but probably do have a setting on my Windows computer that prevents it.
(of course, it's not a "Windows" computer but is one with a Windows OS)
