Can someone...anyone please answer a few general questions regarding tv and internet signals. Okay, I am also (like a million others about to "disable my cable") I don't watch alot of tv, but I do NEED internet service.
I have a bundled package with comcast, ONLY because they were going to charge me more for internet alone!
Well, as we all know the promotion ended and the monthly bill is getting higher....and I might add the cable package they gave me was more foreign channels than american...go figure. Well I have a internet antenna installed on my roof from my first service. (Who went out of business without telling me, and just moved their business to Las Vegas) So, what I want to know is, is there a way that I can hook up my internet and any cable WITHOUT a service provider if I have all the equipment? I have a new modem and a new router...and also have a internal wireless router in my computer. I don't have a new model TV, but it is compatible with my analog to digital converter box or any other cable box I have had.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Just want to know if I should just not waste my time educating myself about all this if its not a possible solution!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Reason: wrong name of antenna
I have a internet antenna installed on my roof from my first service. (Who went out of business without telling me, and just moved their business to Las Vegas)
I was wrong about Las Vegas....I meant they moved to Reno. It is called Yonder wireless, and it appears they only deal with businesses for wireless service now.
For ota tv go to antennaweb.org insert address to see where transmission tower is located, distance and channels available.
For wireless internet, check out prepaid tmobile, netzero, internet on the go, freedompop [wimax, don't use sprint 3g/4g map], virginmobile. Routers are not needed but with any wireless using a stick or hotspot they must be compatible with and when using a router.
ok, I have officially given up on this...thanks for your help....
