Reputable site to send money (ie Visa) online (email, website, message)

I need to send $100 as a birthday gift to someone...today. I don't know of any sites that do online Visa gift cards...does anyone know of a reputable site I can use to 'electronically' send the funds to somone? I was hoping to use a site that would let me add a "Happy Birthday" message to the email that goes out. I prefer to send money over a gift card to a place or restaurant.

For same day, best bet is Western Union. You can send it on-line.

They would usually have to go a WU agent to pickup cash. (There are thousands)
There are other alternatives depending on receiver's situation.

I believe Amazon lets you add an email message to the recipient when you buy a gift card online through their website. I would check that out. I have never done it myself but have heard from others that they do that.
