I wasn't aware of this, so wanted to share. If you find a mistake in Google Maps, there is a place you can click on the bottom right and tell them about it.

I've known that Google Maps had my home's location incorrect for some reason - it was close but would put you a few blocks out of the way. I sent them the message and within a day, they had corrected it!

You have had better luck than me.

I keep TRYING to tell them that they have the Washington D.C. garbage tip in the wrong spot, but they keep ignoring me.

I'm 1 for 2 on highway route directions. First one took a few weeks but was corrected. They had you making an illegal right turn at a "jug-handle" turn. ( only allowed to go straight on).

Second one they asked for clarification. They have you looking for Westbound signage to get on an Eastbound Interstate. Even sent them a link to their StreetView of the signs. They still don't get it. But it is a somewhat tricky intersection.

I recently tried to make some corrections but had no luck. I am following a team of 32 young people who are on the Bike & Build Southern US route traveling across the country by bicycle.

Bike & Build - Southern U.S.

They will soon enter Yosemite NP from the east on Rte 120 and head over Tioga Pass. Google bike route from the pass to the valley sends them along a trail that is for hikers only, no bikes. Google also could not map the bike route from Pahrump, NV to Baker, CA but could show the route for a car or for hikers and the bike route would be the same.

I wasn't aware of that either. They have had my home's location off by about 2 blocks ever since I first checked it but I didn't realize the option to tell them was their. Thanks for the heads up.
