Facebook won't allow my iPad photos (games, click, camera, remove)

I have the Facebook app on my iPad 2. But I can't upload the photos on my iPad to my posts. I did some searching on this and I find that people are saying that you'll get a pop-up that asks if you want to allow access. That doesn't happen for me. When I click on the camera icon nothing happens. Any suggestions?

You may have inadvertently denied Facebook access to your Camera Roll.
Quick and easy way would be to remove and re-install Facebook so it asks you again.
Otherwise you need to poke around in settings.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I found my problem which is I need to update Facebook but can't since the grandkids have loaded up my iPad with so many games I'm out of space!
