Don't have Twitter account & I don't look at/go to the site (or however that works).

Joined FB in 2009, but didn't post-just read or looked at stuff there occasionally, observed from the sidelines.
Put up a few photos from many years earlier (which I'd scanned in), that was all. I'm technophobic, slow to try (let alone, embrace) new tech.
Couple years ago I came across this (see below) & was so impressed with the performance that I felt I just *had* to post it.

Alberto Balsalm - Steel Version - YouTube

Have never used FB to announce anything, such as "this happened today", or "I feel ___ right now".
I post "impersonal" (non-private) things/content: links to words, sounds, images that appeal to my tastes.
So those are what I post when it says "status update"-I don't actually discuss my status-
the most I do is make a comment about how much I like a particular video clip, song, or meme.

My first tweet!

A later tweet....

No twitter though

Facebook no posts only had it about three weeks after a trip to Poland to keep in touch with someone I met then closed account. NWTT (Not worth the time).

Now CD is fun because it is like wandering the halls of an 18th century French Salon and having the option to lurk and overhear or pop in with some input when the mood hits.

I wonder how Leo Laporte relates to twitter, since he has TWIT (The Week In Technology) ?
Semantically, people who follow TWIT would be twitters.

Twitter: Bluefish game August 19, 2010.

4.5 years and over 28,000 tweets later, it's still going strong!
