I can relate to some of the OP's frustration as well. I used to be a cable installer for Cablevision for awhile. I didn't have nearly as many problems though and I was nice to everyone I came in contact with.

As far as the dogs are concerned, I have been chased before... but I would usually ask if there is "an animal I should be concerned about" on my pre-call.

the way I hate the cable company. That's no hyperbole. And I have very good reason for feeling that way, which I won't go into because everyone knows already.

And you think I care if you hate me?

I'm sure it does suck to work for the most hated company in America. But I can't help you with that.
