Games like spades, hearts, pitch/setback, euchre etc. Against humans, with a ranking system. There used to be 3D Hearts, Spades Deluxe through Freeverse but no longer...I do have Hardwood Hearts and Hardwood Spades on my old laptop but my girlfriend is doing homework on that one :P

So, anyone? I will download a program but it has to be free.....Pogo drags ass on this "new" laptop

No one? I'll explain a bit more maybe I was vague...a downloadable (cheap!) program or website that keeps tracks of your wins and losses and has a lot of other humans playing against you...I don't like playing against bots/computers. I want to be able to at least slightly customize the rules (points, trick taking, etc, possible on Hardwood and Freeverse)...

Most importantly, I want everyone who plays to be rated/ranked. For instance, on Freeverse I was for a time ranked #6 out of 1,000+ players on Hearts, and got to #2 on Spades. On Hardwood, it goes the other way (higher ranking=better player) and I am ranked around 1400 on both.

So ye. Anyone? I do have HW on the old laptop but I don't have the CD anymore and don't think I can transfer it to a different computer. Or if I can I don't know how :P

I used to love Yahoo. They have a rating system, keeps track of Wins Losses and that all good stuff. Is the most popular out of anything I believe too so people are always on.

I used to play Spades, Hearts, Chess and there were some customizable options for each.

i've lately been using http://www.yahtzee-game.com/

That link goes to Yahtzee, but there is a list of other card game links at the top of that page when it opens. The sites are completely free of crap, you just get the game from a safe source for no-hassle unlimited play. But not against humans, if that's what you want.

While on the subject, does anybody know whether on-line card games actually deal cards in a randomized fashion, or are the games rigged to control the winning probability?
