Hello all,

I am kind of a private person who has been working with a close friend to become Affiliate Marketer via SEO, social media marketing methods.

I understand facebook has a Fan or Business Page for people to promote their businesses and market, etc.

I deleted my facebook account about a year ago.

If I join Facebook and create a Fan Page, will my friends know the page belongs to me? Or will know that fan page link back to me?

Thanks

I suppose you could create a new FB account UNDER ALL BOGUS INFO but in order for this to work YOU CANNOT ADD FRIENDS,ETC......... As your real ID would most likely be found out!

I WOULD ADVISE STAYING OFF THAT SITE!!!!!!!! -- You were GOOD for closing your account a year ago!!!!! (You dont realise it)

Good luck!!

Thanks Dude111,

I don't mind being on FB if its going to help my potential supplemental income, however I don't want my job to know I am on FB doing any side work.

Yes, the stress of being on FB has reduced alot and keeping up with people is shortened.

I just did this, I wanted to create a FB page for my storefront website and I didn't want it mixing with my 'social' facebook.

You would have to open a regular (personal) account.
Start a new one, instead of resurrecting the old 'known' one. Try and use a completely new or unused email, or a business email, so people can't find you by your email address.

Then create a Page, I used this tutorial

After that, you don't really have to post to your personal timeline, you can just work and post from your business page.
And you can point people directly to your Business Page instead of your personal page.

Thank you so much NMNan

I am not too familiar with advertising but learning.

I want to create a page where I can refer people and then a link is there to link them to another page where they sign up for something. I can use facebook ads to promote what i am selling.

Thanks.

Dude111 is a bit paranoid. Please don't take everything he says as fact. Sorry, Dude, but you know you are insanely anti-....err... just about everything.

If you want to be an AFFILIATE MARKETER via SEO then yes, get on Facebook NOW.
NMNan is spot on.
