Since last Friday if you try and log into your account you'll see something very similar to this:

An error occurred while processing your request.
Reference #97.c63de93f.1412076625.196977c7
I called their support on Sunday and then again last night, they have no idea why and who is affected.

It appears not all CVS users are affected.

Again, their web site is up but nothing beyond the main web page.

Server software crashes are par for the course. Depending on who is contracted to deal with it will slate how long it will take to resolve it. I know a few US companies that come 0430 EST Friday stop working until 0800 EST Monday. Thus depending on how cheap of a contractor they chose will designate how long it will take to resolve. Portal software for consumers is not a high priority on the emergency list since it exists more for convenience than anything else. For example when your Doctor transmits a script, it is on a completely different system than this portal software. Thus if it went down it would have a high priority to be resolved.

fwiw, As of 1000 EST today sign-in sometimes works and sometimes not as it still gives an error code, but not all the time. One would have to log-in a few times to actually see if all portal links are functional.
