Perhaps instead of baseless fear mongering and a link to a thread filled with other people ignorantly screeching about nothing, you could tell us exactly what the issue is.

I just had a look with Wireshark. Number of connections to Google - zero.

I haven't read any comments about the Slimjet Browser, which IMHO is the best and fastest of any browsers I've tried. Below is a line of Slim Browsers anyone can try. Give it a shot and let us know what anyone thinks of it. It's just a 2013 improved Chromium open source project, on which Google chrome is also based on.

One of the few I have never tried out personally. I might have to check it out to see how well it performs.

Thanks for sharing.

"Slimjet" works the best. The "Slimbroswer" is too slow!

Thanks, I am gonna download it later and test it out. I have been checking out a lot of different browsers lately to see if any stand out as noticeably better/faster/etc...

I'm in San Jose, Ca. and recently had the AT&T WiFi wireless router installed in just a few hours for TV and internet with 11Mbps and works great with all of our Wifi gadgets at home. On the weekends with heavy internet traffic I was experiencing constant popup commercials even with my adblock extension enabled. When I downloaded Slimjet and started to use the browser, I didn't have any popup commercials without using the adblock extension. Web pages unloaded fast and navigating/scrolling was just as quick. Slimjet is now my favorite default browser, which is similar to Google Chrome, but much faster IMHO and has a few added features Chrome doesn't have. I still have FireFox and Google Chrome as a backup. IE11 is just hidden in the background collecting cobwebs. Anyway, I'm not a great fan of any version of IE.

I dont think the issue of being spied on IS 'NOTHING!!'

It certainly is an important matter! (No one let themselves be WILLINGLY spied on)

No other browsers than IE in use here except for use to test new web pages.
