Seriously? You did not know that hacking into someone else's account was illegal?

Have you not heard about the Target breach? The Home Depot breach? Identity theft?

Let's discuss breaking and entering. Think of your house (or your parent's house, since I am assuming you are a child). If someone breaks in and enters your house, that is illegal. If someone breaks into someone else's account, that is also illegal.

Our education system is worse than I thought.

1) As a legitimate hacker, nothing this thread talks about has anything at all to do with hacking. Nothing about compromising security of computer systems for personal gain involves exploration or learning.

2) Hacking is not illegal; hijacking accounts and systems is. Learn the difference, people.

3) Perhaps an administrator can change the title of this thread to "Hijacking a Facebook Account" so others don't get confused, because that's what it's actually about.

4) Peach, cut the "house" analogies. That was considered trite and meaningless clear back in 1993.

5) OP, try this: http://suicidemachine.org/. Give it any data it requires, let it work its magic, then step out of doors for a while. (In case you didn't get the memo, there's an entire world outside of Facebook awaiting your exploration. Have at it.) Though if you still really, really want to go your route, I suggest sending E-Mail to biff@bit.net*. Tell him Xibo* sent you. He can help you out.

One post, and I'm done with this thread.

* If you have to ask, you're too young to know.

The first two responses in this thread were acts of online bullying.

In your opinion, not mine.

Frankly, I think this "online bullying" label has gotten out of hand and is used too loosely.

But it's not surprising that the bully would have this opinion. A bully never feels in the wrong when in action.

OP, if you own the copyright to the photo, just contact facebook with supporting details and they will take it down. Facebook respects copyrights and is fairly aggressive about it.
