240 requests, 6MB including cached files.

It's worse than it was before.
On chrome on a Mac:

220 requests, 2.4 MB, 21 seconds (initial)
191 requests, 381 KB, 16 seconds (subsequent)

Those are render times. Load times were around 5 seconds for both... Which implies that it's show at rendering... Not downloading.

About 10 seconds here for the entire thing to load.

Hit ctrl f5 to do full page refresh. You probably have some of it cached from another site..

How long to render? Something is horribly long with the code based on how long it takes to render. I didn't analyze it at all since I was at work.

I do. It's something extremely grating to me that I have never been able to tolerate. Especially back in the early 00s and late 90s when we could only afford dial up, I wanted to punch the computer. Now that we have high speed internet in 2014, it doesn't make sense to me AT ALL how the internet can stall even for ONE MINUTE.

My full page loaded in about 5 seconds. First time, so no cache.
