Early in the morning the internet was running too slow and it makes me mad. It's working now. Often I have problems with the internet. Who else gets frustrated when the internet goes slow? I know I do for sure.

Often when the internet runs slow, I find it's my computer or router or modem.

If I power cycle the modem, restart the router, and restart my computer, 99% of the time things improve drastically.

This was a big annoyance for me in the 90s when cable internet was new. They've ironed out all the bugs and I don't have those kinds of issues anymore.

I get irritated with the web page designers when that happens. Their pages have more baggage than a 19th century dowager on the grand tour and they end up looking just as slow and gaudy.

This is a major cause of page performance issues. Take my local news channel, 10 trackers and at least 6 ads if not more on the home page, these things affect page load times (not to mention your computers security). Using ABP and Ghostery it goes from mediocre to fast. Laypeople usually don't think about the affects of these on performance.

We must have the same news station. LOL.... A few years back I noticed the one local station slowly loading, this was with a 10Mbps connection. Went and looked and it was like a 3MB download. LOL

Drive me nuts? Because a webpage may load slowly? Um... no.
Drives me nuts when I hear about a nutjob shooting up a school or some parent hanging a child by his feet and beating him...
A webpage? Loading slowly? Not so much...
How spoiled are we?
