Is there software out there that will allow me to download live streaming video? I want to download a web class that is presented live online, but i won't be able to fully watch it since i will be busy at work. I want to watch it fully later on. Thanks.

Google is your friend. This is probably illegal, otherwise the class would be available for download, and C-D frowns on us helping folks with illegal activity.

It was for me because i wasn't able to watch it due to work. It wasn't anything intended for illegal distribution, just for private viewing. I found CamStudio to be good enough after some youtube findings.

I never claimed you were sharing it. Even downloading it for your own use is probably, technically, not legal.

Does your job know you're taking online classes? If so, they won't let you watch the class?
or is this "on the down low"?
