I normally keep the wifi off on my phone while on the bus, but today left it on and was surprised to see
6 different networks, all from cellular devices that stayed the whole 40 minutes. Must have been people on the bus with me using their phone as a mobile hotspot (only one was unprotected). At home now, I automatically connect to our network so don't see what else there is, but I decided to check and there are a total of 13 wireless networks besides ours, within range from various neighbors. I wonder what it's like in a big multi-story apartment building. Apparently if too many have the same provider it will slow down the speed? If you get a chance, check and see how many are in range of you.
