New website (Word, domain, blogs, http)

Hi eveybody,
Just started a new mean greeting card company on the web
How do I get the word out? I've been trying to get the search
engines to notice me, talking to people on forums, blogs word
of mouth. Any suggestions ?

The search engines will find you, you only need one link somewhere and they'll pick it up. I've had them index stuff I still have no clue how they found.You can see what google has found on your site by doing this searh:

site:example.com

Replace "example" withe your domain name.

Rankings and other things are a different story, I'd suggest visiting a site like webmasterworld.com and read, read, read, read,.... then when your done read some more.

The more links and good script gets you traffic.

When you blog do you link back to your site?

Do you write articles with links etc.

Google link exchanges.

Links, content and traffic are the key to your success.

If you blog and link, traffic will follow and you make money off the links on your site.

SSearch engine makes you visible more. Concentrate on that. Submit your website to every search engine.
