Google doesn't know I exist. Don't even use their maps. All cookies with the word 'google' in it is on my block list.

I use Google, with an add-on for Chrome that changes the logo back to the old one. I absolutely hate the new Google logo.

Wink The search engine that doesn't track you.

Another one is: https://classic.ixquick.com/?&snl=1

It's from the same company as Startpage, but I don't like that name, as it's too much like a Windoze app.
With Ixquick one can change the look of the page very easily, and I like this as well as the security it provides.

I stay far, far away from anything in Google Land.

Just sayin'.

Man, really? Just because you don't like the LOGO?!? I could care less what the logo looks like.
That's crazy, man.

Dude111's post about an analog clock in Win98 and now this? I've seen it all today.

Not at all, but what am I to do? If I go to Bing, they'll know everything, too, if they don't already.

I am. 100%. Google knows where I live. So does the government. Google knows where I work. OK. So does the government. At least by giving this to Google, I get something out of it.
When I pick my phone up in the morning, it tells me right on my main screen "you should leave a few minutes early for work today, traffic is worse then usual".
Or I can just speak to my phone, from anywhere, and say "Navigate Home" and I get directions.

Uncle Sam doesn't do that for me. GLADLY give that info up for the convenience.

Knows what websites I visit.
Fine. I go to tech sites and I shop. That's about it. I would give anyone that information.

Reads my email OK. Nothing in there is private I don't do anything important through email. I don't share private information at all through email.

Knows what YouTube video's I watch. Fine. Don't care there...not watching anything even remotely weird that might be embarrassing.

Am I missing anything else?
Oyea, knows what I purchase at Walgreens because I sometimes use Android Pay. That's only once in awhile and I am actually conscious of what I buy there when using the phone. *snap, Google knows I have a dog now.

People worry about this too much OR they have a far more interesting and possibly illegal life then I do.
