I was told by someone that by using bing search, we can earn rewards for searches and for other things. I set my home page to it, signed up with it, and nothing works. All I get are constant error pages about a "bad verb." What the heck is wrong with the site?
I am ready to just chuck it all. So I changed my home page back to what I had before and have not used bing.
Has anyone else experienced these problems with it?

I use bing all the time and it is my default search. I've never had any problems with it. I refuse to use google for anything.

Check to see if you have something called Windows Family Safety Program installed. If you do, delete it. That seems to cause similar problems. It doesn't appear to be related to bing (which is probably no better or worse than any of the search engines for privacy). I don't like google either, but sometimes have to use it and other different search engines to find something. Have you tried a different browser? Not sure what you have going on there. I never use it myself. Duckduckgo seems very good to me.

I gave up on bing. I went back to yahoo and google search like before and no more problems. I mainly use Firefox when searching, sometimes Chrome. Never use IE. That always would freeze up and crash. Thanks for your helpful suggestions.

Nothing wrong with Bing. I still prefer Google.

What version of Windows are you on OP?
