An ad blocker is a browser ad on that blocks ads, an ad blocker blocker is technology used on websites to block visitors using an ad blocker, so thus, we have the ad blocker blocker blocker, which prevents websites from blocking visitors using an ad blocker...

Adblocker-blockers get around sites that block adblockers

I haven't tried it yet, but it's there if you want to give it a go.

My ad blocker doesn't seem to work with the windows 10 program I recently downloaded, but when I view the same website on internet explorer, no ads.

Website blocks me because I use an ad blocker.

There's a thousand more that have the same stuff.

Moving on...

It's not a matter if they can but if they want too. If I want to force ads onto you to view my site that is what is going to happen. Sites are losing huge amounts of revenue. What's going to happen is a few sites will start blocking the blocker, then a few more, then it will be an avalanche....

Just picked up this article on Engadget.
So, advertisers can pay to skirt blocking? Sheesh.
I wondered why Adblock Plus allowed ads when I used it, and didn't know about "Taboola" other than clickbait showing up on sites.
RIP: Adblock Plus
