I am and have blocked the app from appearing on my feed and was wondering if anyone else has done the same thing at the latest fad to come to Facebook that will likely fade into obscurity by the middle part of next week.

I just started seeing them so I'm not sick of them yet. However, I'm sick of everything else on Facebook, including most of my friends' posts. All it is anymore is one big newsfeed of jokes, videos and sayings. I have about 450 friends and they are all people I want to keep, for one reason or another...many of them family...I don't want to miss anything important, so I don't want to hide them, but it's out of control. The friends who actually post anything of interest about their lives is about, maybe, 5.

You can be a bit more at ease if you keep *following* those 5 friends and *un-follow* all the rest.

All those you have now un-followed are still available, but only if *you* decide to see what kind of nonsense they shared 99% of the time.

I have the same situation. I like to keep up with Family (about 15 or so) and once and a while I read what some other *friends* have posted.

All I have to do is scroll thru the notifications and read a small synopsis.
