Youtube goes autoplay when I shrink a window. (screen, media)

I watch youtubes full screen, easier to see with one eye. If I pause the vid in full screen and then shrink it the vid immediately starts playing again. Is this normal for youtube or have I offended the video gods in some unknown fashion?

I have noticed that too. I hate that. No idea why it does that, or whether it is an intentional feature, or just a bug they won't fix.
