QUESTION: How many tabs do you have open RIGHT NOW??
ANSWER: I don't know, as I don't "keep tabs" on such matters.

Seriously: There are times when I'd have 40-something to 50-something tabs open at once. If the browser had become too slow or even nearly unresponsive as a result of too many open tabs (say, if using Mozille Firefox), I'd use an installed browser add-on such as "Send Tab URLs" to make a text list of all open tabs and their web URLs and paste said text list into a blank document and save that document. Then I'd close most of the tabs and, when I wanted to view another one of the desired tabs that had previously been open in my browser, I'd copy-&-paste said desired tab in from the saved text list I'd previously made into the browser to open that new tab. Therefore, the browser became responsive enough again (i.e., without so many tabs open at once). Or if, even after closing nearly all the open tabs (after making a list of them with the "Send Tab URLs" add-on for Firefox), the browser was still frozen up or rather unresponsive, I'd abort the active browser altogether in the operating system's Task Manager and then open a new instance of saiid browser and, this time, handle just one or two tabs at a time.
Or, instead, while still having Mozilla Firefox in use for some of the desired tabs, I can choose to open the extra desired tabs in a different browser altogether besides my usually-desired Mozilla Firefox (e.g, Google Chrome, Opera, Apple Safari, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge . . . . . whichever browser I'd use being dependent on which of my multiple computers I am using at the time).
Just to be different: I have 5 tabs open in the Private part of Safari and 9 in the regular part of Safari on my phone. I can switch between them easily.
