So far, i am paying alot for cable, but go online to find movies and missed shows.

I keep hearing about Roku and others.

What can i expect if i go internet only with my cable provider, and set up IPTV?

Having a Spanish Language line up, along with a basic line up of cable programming, and some cartoons is what we most need.

IPTV is a generic term for streaming content which includes live and on demand. There are tons of options on Roku, Amazon Fire Stick and other similar players.

For $40 (or less) you can buy a streaming device. I like the Amazon Fire stick which is based on android and has literally hundreds of apps for both live and on demand. Some (many) are free while others are not. You need a good wifi connection of at least 10mbps (IMO) or better.

Pretty much cable tv via streaming. Kodi is a good example of this ,but you will need a "subscription" to make it work. Slingtv is a IPTV service, there are tons of IPTV sub services out their but you need a device to decode them such as a amazon/roku sticks.

Not condoning any such activity, but new streaming services for android and other devices call SET. Might want to google that up. SET android IPTV be your base words. You will need a very decent internet for any iptv to work correctly. 10mb if you only have one device in the house, but really suggest 50 or better. I use it for 2 pc's in the house and only use basic cable tv for locals. The downside is no DVR function yet on some providers. HTPC long lives in my house for sure... Just wish microsoft didnt kill the media center.. that thing was nice if you can get a tv tuner and CAM card to work.
