Wondering about tracking cookies, etc. How secure are they?
I don't know about all that re: Protopage. Frankly, I am one of those people who doesn't give a rats behind about "tracking cookies". I've lost a lot of people in my life and it's made me understand what's really important: people. Not some big corporation that knows I hang out on websites that talk about smoking pot or that I am into furry porn. (Just making a point, I am not really into those things....maybe). I could die tomorrow "ono Google knows I like girls in sandals porn". (Not even sure that's a thing).
I do know a friend of mine set up a Protopage that is really neat. You can share your Protopage publicly or keep it private. He actually shares it publicly and has a handful of people that use his page as their homepage. How cool is that?
What home page do you have and why do you like it?
I have msn but the slides change so quick before you can finish reading them. I don't care much for gossip/tabloids either.
Also I don't want to have to wait for a hundred ads to download. I used to have google, it was plain and simple but want to get updated on current events when logging on.
Search Engine homepage is always great to have. Or Citydata .
I do not use a homepage. When I log on, I go directly to my speed dial 2 page, which has all my favorites on it.
