I cannot connect to websites (Mac, server, how to, redirected)

I use macOS High Sierra v.10.13.3 (17D102). Recently I have trouble accessing a few websites. Depending on the browser I use I get pages that say: "Unable to connect", or "This site can’t be reached", or "Can't open the page". Is this a problem that is more prevalent lately? Thank you.

Are you using a proxy? Perhaps the proxy blacklists those sites.

Both connected OK here on High Sierra.

FWIW the AOL redirected to https://login.yahoo.com/
