The "junk" coming out of China is what Americans have been buying for the past 20 years. Most Americans wouldn't or couldn't buy the same "junk" if it was made in the USA with American wage scales. In these recessionary times of high fuel prices, inflation and stagnant wages (stagflation), the US economy has been "locked " into paying the cheap labor prices for Chinese made "junk"! Every industry in the US outsources to the Chinese. Why? Easy: $$$$$!!!

And American consumers endless appetite for cheap household goods.

We probably need to keep this thread on the technology aspect of the topic if we don't want it to be locked in this forum.

Thats what wrong with Americans We make child labor & min wage laws here BUT dont care that the products we buy ARE made by people that earn way less than what we would except in our pay......and mostly by kids. Our country was built on the backs of hard working people, But some how those work ethics became weaker & weaker with each generation. Yet now those we have expoited all these years are trying to kill us without declaring actual war! So yes we need to boycot the games & everything coming from china & get off our duffs make our own products to use here in the USA!!

What's amazing is that we have minimum wage laws and laws to protect children - all good things. Yet we allow our greedy corporations to send the jobs overseas to sweat shops that could care less about worker rights and decency. It makes you wonder what's the point of trying to increase our standard of living. With outsourcing it will be nearly impossible. Time to take away the tax incentives that encourage sending jobs overseas.

The point with outsourcing is $$$! That's why US corporation don't care about labor laws, their labor is offshore and not subject to any US laws!
