When I try to get my laptop to pick a wireless network (any around here just to check and see if it can pick it up) it says "wireless capability on this computer is turned off". Then I click on diagnose problem and it acts like it's trying to solve it but it comes back as "windows could not repair this problem" What can I do to solve this? I used to be able to pick up any wifi networks.
Thanks in advance.
After I solve this I will post the next question.
"wireless capability on this computer is turned off"
Turn on the wireless.
Most laptops have a button or key combination to accomplish this. Look for a symbol that looks like a microphone (I Know) with waves coming off the top to either side. You might have to press the Fn key to activate it. This is usually true if the symbol is found on oner of the function keys.
