That has to be one of the strangest articles I've ever read. The author needs a proofreader in a big way. An example:

"he ended up defending himself against an attack he almost certainly never encountered."

I would say that the defense was pretty much a cake-walk...

The gist of the article is interesting.

Keep in mind the vulnerability is at the DNS server.... not at the user's machine (unless they're running their own DNS server). In essence, even if that tool results in a positive... the fix isn't on your box... its on your ISP's box. So you're still at the mercy and promptness of your ISP.

Yep, I'm my ISP's servers still haven't been updated. Looks like they would be more on the ball, since supposedly they are a little more techy-oriented than I am.
