I know I sound like an idiot, but I've forgotten how to set up a link on this forum to an article in today's newspaper. Can someone please tell me how to do it.

Go to the page that you wish to link, then open a new tab for the c-d forum. Click on post reply, then left click the address field at the top of the page you wish to link. Now, right click and select copy.
Click on the "insert link" icon above the message box on the c-d forum page. "Hyperlink" box will come up, in the url field hit backspace to clear the http://, (broken link) then right click your mouse within the url field and select paste.

I do it a bit differently.

> Highlight, right-click, copy URL address from, let's say, Google
> Highlight the word or words in your note that you want to turn into a link
> Click the icon above that looks like a planet with a couple of chain links
> Paste the URL address into the space and click OK.
> The reader who reads your link will see Google.

The URL is found at the top of the screen, also known as the address bar.

Example: www.yahoo.com

The above advice is also very good.
