Help! I have the exact same problem using IE and Vista. From the link provided on post #2 from swagger, it says it downloads, but I can't see the movie indicating a successful install. I have tried several times.
There was mention of a patch available for Windows, but that is not for Vista.

Any suggestions?

I had this issue too. I found that if you disable virus protection and copy two installation files to the Firefox plugins folder (copy npswf32.dll and flashplayer.xpt from C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\ to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins\) it fixed my problem. It took me forever to figure it out.

Hi there a solution i found worked perfectly is the following.

uninstall the previous version of the flash player
then restart your computer to make sure all registries are deleted
once u restart install the new flash player
then go to C:Windows/system32/Macromed/flash copy a file named NPSWF32.dll
then go to C:Program files/Mozilla Firefox/plugins and paste the file, NPSWF32.dll, there restart firefox and there you have it problem solved.

this has worked on all my laptops and desktops all are vista.

Good lord, could you possibly spell out your words? You're not texting your BFF in study hall.

Adobe - Install a different version of Adobe Flash Player

Before doing that, you can try going into add/remove programs (in control panel) and if the flash player is listed in there, uninstall that first.
Thank you.
I just purchased a new laptop with Windows 7 and had the same problem with Mozilla.
Thanks, again. You saved a lot of time.
