Far too many folks in the USA work in restrictive IT environments where they are forced to use only IE. That skews the market share in a big way.

Those who care and can choose will choose Firefox.

yes exactly..
until that happens we wont see firefox dominate in fact no browser will until places decide it time for IE to leave the scene
