Any other mail server admins making use of greylisting technology? I implemented it back in May and am very pleased with the results - there was an immediate and dramatic reduction in the volume of spam getting into the system, which in turn saves on the resources used to deal with them.

Interesting. A great alternative to a spam/content filter... but if you already have one.....

And just out of curiosity - is that your own personal mail server? Or are those message counts in the thousands?

This works in conjunction with existing antispam technology. Greylisting keeps the messages from hitting the filters in the first place, reducing the resources required to process all the junk. It's the first line of defense.

It's a server I have colocated. It's got around 100 domains total, owned by about half a dozen people. The vast majority of the domains don't have any e-mail accounts associated with them, though. There's about 250 total e-mail accounts on the machine.
