I've been using that website for about 3 years now. I write government proposals and the amount of acronyms the DOD uses is phenomenal.

I have a FireFox addon that has a DictionarySearch 3.0.0. It has acronyms, definitions, and oftentimes, Wikipedia links and thesaurus. Words that don't show up on these, often are found in the "blogosphere," which has a link.

Of course, there are a number of other dictionaries. I've only tried this one, though I do have one on CD which is very good.
